Donald S. Haag, 80, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 24, 2014. He was born on August 24, 1933, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Zeffie Carroll and Leonard W. Haag.

Don graduated from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. He was employed for twenty years as a manager for the K-Mart Corporation. He left K-Mart to operate his own business, the O.R. Laney Company, in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, and sold the business in 1989, before retiring in Texas.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Carolyn Hudson Haag of Beaumont; his daughter, Cathy Cathey; and two grandsons, Zachary Willms and Austin Willms, all of San Diego, California.

A gathering of Mr. Haag’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m. with his memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
