Lou Aaron Thompson, 38,
of Beaumont, died Thursday, May 15, 2014. He was born on March 2, 1976, in
Beaumont, to Katherine “Kitty” English Thompson and Lou Amos Thompson, both of whom
have preceded him in death.
Lou will be most
remembered for his love of his family and he especially enjoyed spending time
with his nephews and nieces. He was a kind man with a generous soul. Lou wanted
those around him to be happy and he would give the shirt off of his back to
help someone in need. He dearly loved animals, but horses were, by far, his
favorite. Lou loved riding, being around them, taking care of them, and working
with them. Lou also had a passion for working with his hands and for gardening.
Survivors include his sister,
Robin Angenend and her husband, Kevin, of Beaumont; brothers, Michael Thompson
of Beaumont and Frank Thompson and his wife, Mindy, of Kauai, Hawaii; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of Mr.
Thompson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His
funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Broussard’s. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s
Crematorium, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers,
