C.R. Jackson, 74, of Spurger, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.  He was born on January 4, 1940, to Pauline Tanner Jackson and Clifford Jackson, and had been a resident of the area since 1990.  C.R. was a retired pipefitter. 

Survivors include his children, Sandra Jackson of Lenexa, Kansas; Michael Jackson and his wife, Debbie, of Windsor Heights, Iowa; Patrick Jackson and his wife, Kim, of Kansas City, Missouri; Adrian Jackson and his wife, Autumn, of Portland Oregon; Sarah Jackson of Arlington; Nathan Jackson of College Station; Joshua Jackson of Lumberton; Aura Jackson of LaGrange; Illinois; Faith Jackson of Silsbee; and Micah Jackson of Lumberton;  grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Erin, Abby, Annie, Jose, Diego, Mere Ann, Ryal, Luke, Seth, Yuna, Grace and Hope; brother, Benjamin Jackson and his wife Barbara of Scott City, Missouri; and sisters, Barbara Akin and her husband Billy, and Brenda Jackson of Counts, Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ira, Clifford, Albert, and George.

A gathering of Mr. Jackson’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Good Samaritan Fellowship, 21544 FM 92 South, Fred, with interment to follow at Good Samaritan Fellowship Cemetery, Fred.
