Patricia “Patt” N. Bangerter, 74, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  She was born September 17, 1939, in Dewey, Oklahoma, the daughter of Elizabeth Shira Shirey and Kenneth Shirey. 

Patricia is survived by her husband, Donald Bangerter; daughters, Niki Brower and her husband D.E.; Terri Sherlock and her husband, E. Jay; Barbara Chaney and her husband, Dion; and Jennifer Cavazos and her husband, Jesse; son-in-law, Dave Martin; grandchildren, Beth, Alex, Jessie, Jordan, Morgan, Kott, Patrick, Kristen, Timothy, Kenny, Kaitlyn, Jacob and Jaden; and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cindy Martin; and one brother, Bruce Shirey.

A memorial service for Mrs. Bangerter will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
