Shirley Reid Pratt, 87, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Shirley was born in Beaumont, on November 28, 1926, to Birchey Kennedy Reid and Joseph C. Reid, and was a longtime resident of Beaumont.

She is survived by her daughter, Anne Pratt and numerous cherished friends; and preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Pratt and son, Hugh Pratt.

A memorial service for Mrs. Pratt will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2014, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 680 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, with a gathering of family and friends to follow the service, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
