Willis Arnold Smith, Jr., 65, of Winnie, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Senior Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center,  Port Arthur. He was born on March 24, 1949, to Hilda Mae LeBlanc and Willis Arnold Smith, Sr., and had been a lifelong resident of the Winnie area.

Willis is survived by his wife, Sadie Mayfield Smith of Winnie; sons, James Smith and his wife, Linda, of Winnie and Kelly Smith and his wife, Julia, of Austin; sister, Margie Gonzales of Winnie.

A memorial service for Mr. Smith will be at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
