Denise Annette Dillard, 61, of Winnie, died Sunday, May 4, 2014. A native of San Bernardino, California, Denise was born on February 9, 1953, to Dorothy Lemser and Edward Simon.

Survivors include husband, Fred Dillard, of Kempner; sons, Shayne Simon and his wife, Lynsey; David Moore and Chris Moore, all of Winnie; daughter, Jeni Freeman of Missouri; brothers, Edward Simon and his wife, Candy of Longview; Jim Simon of Chandler, Arizona; Rick Simon of California; sisters, Delilah Gabriel of Denver, Colorado; and Debbie Cunningham of Riverside, California; Dena Simon of Winnie; and Kandie Smetak and her husband, Ray of Alexandria, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by parents; son, Jeffrey Moore; and first husband, Wilbert Simon.

A memorial service for Mrs. Dillard will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A private family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s.
