Arthur G. Hill, 86, of Warren, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Tyler County Hospital, Woodville. He was born to Francis Leonard Hill and Arthur Gideon Hill, Sr., on November 22, 1927, in Charleston, West Virginia. Arthur was a United States Navy veteran having served in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, June K. Hill of Warren; daughter, Cindy Mason and her husband, Lynn, of Lumberton; granddaughters, Staci Torres and her husband, Homer, of Nederland; Krystle Mason of Dallas; and Holly Burnett and her husband, Erick, of Lumberton; great-grandchildren, Emily Torres, Peyton Torres, and Mackenzie Torres, all of Nederland, and Jack Burnett of Lumberton; brothers and sisters, LouAnn Hill, Francis “Smitty” Hill, Barbara Trahan, Vernon Hill, Richard Hill, and Glen Hill.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tim J. Hill; sister, Patsy Mathews; and brother, Homer Hill.

A gathering of Mr. Hill’s family and friends will begin 12:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
