Bobbye Enderle Harrison, 83, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on July 22, 1930, in Beaumont. Bobbye was one of sixteen children born to Pauline Metzke Enderle and Martin Enderle. Until recently, she was an active volunteer for Some Other Place in Beaumont, where she shared her cooking skills. Bobbye loved sitting in her lawn chair on the beach at Gilchrist watching her kids, and later her grandkids, fish and crab.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Culbertson and her husband, Rick, of Sour Lake; Sue Hodge and her husband, Gary, of Kemah; and Lee Harrison and her husband, Alan Ainsworth, of Houston; son, Shorty Harrison and his wife, Therese, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Heath Hodge, Jennifer Harrison Boykin, Lindsey Hodge, Ian Culbertson, Hunter Harrison, Jared Harrison, and Andrew Culbertson; great-grandchildren, Kylie Harrison, Gabo Galvan, Jack Hodge, Hunter Harrison, Jr., and Kyndall Boykin; and one sister, Sister Paula Enderle, O.P.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Harrison; and fourteen brothers and sisters.

A Christian Vigil for Mrs. Harrison will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 21, 2014, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
