Thomas Earl Prichard, 56, of Sour Lake, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on June 14, 1957, in Port Arthur, to Lucille Degeyter Prichard and Lige Prichard, and had been a longtime resident of Sour Lake. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was a self-employed carpenter.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Adele Prichard; children, Tasha Deshotel of China; Eleni Prichard and Dustin McFarlane, of Sour Lake; brothers, Lige Avite Prichard, Rodney James Prichard, and  Darrell Glenn Prichard, all of Sour Lake, and Jamie Karol Prichard of China; sister, Alicia Kay Venner of Dallas; and grandchildren, Michael Weeks, Romeo Weeks, Blaze Deshotel, Zoe Duhon, and Ziva Duhon.

A gathering of Mr. Prichard’s family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His graveside service will follow Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m., at Rosedale Cemetery, Old Beaumont Road, Sour Lake.
