Wilma Sue Altom, 81, of Beaumont, died, Friday, April 11, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on September 23, 1932, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, to Edna and Alex McClane.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Altom; and her daughter, Twylia Altom.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Altom and his wife, Lorrie; grandchildren, Crystal Rogers and Jarrod Altom; and great-granddaughter, Esperanza Saldana, all of Beaumont.

A gathering of Mrs. Altom’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
