Charles "Chuck" J. Perrio, Sr. 
May 20, 1937 - April 7, 2014

Charles J. “Chuck” Perrio, Sr., 76, of Beaumont, died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on May 20, 1937, to Agnes Sonnier Perrio and Joseph Dewey Perrio, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. Chuck was a United States Army veteran and served as a firefighter for thirty years.

 

Survivors include his son, Charles Perrio, Jr.; daughter, Therese Titsworth and her husband, Tim; three grandchildren, Wendy Steed, Brad Steed, and Sierra Perrio; four great-grandchildren, Sarah Steed, Zoe Steed, Natalie Steed, and Marcie Claire Perrio; brother, Paul Perrio and his wife, Ethel; and his fiancée, Carolyn Koch.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Lou Hollyfield Perrio; brothers, Joseph Perrio and John Perrio; and sisters, Melba Horn Perrio and Mabel Perrio.

 

A Rosary for Mr. Perrio will be recited at 6:00 p.m., with a gathering of his family and friends to follow until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2014, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.
