Xin Tran, 94, of Beaumont, died Sunday, April 6, 2014. He was born on April 4, 1920, in Vietnam, to Tuoy Thi Tran and Chin Tran, and had been a longtime resident of the area.

Survivors include his children, Chat Thi Tran, Minh Van Tran, Quyen Van Tran, Phep Thi Tran, and Nhiem Van Tran.

A Rosary for Mr. Tran will be recited at 6:00 p.m., with a Mass to follow at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1115 Orange Street, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1115 Orange Street, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
