Willieree Olsen, 90, of Beaumont, died Friday, April 4, 2014, at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital.

She was born on September 24, 1923, in Silsbee, to the late Minnie Augustus Lawrence Teague and Alvey Teague. Willieree graduated from Beaumont High School and remained an avid reader all her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Jodie Beach; grandchild, Gus Beach (the love of her life); and a multitude of nieces, nephews, loving relatives, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Sid Olsen.

A gathering of Mrs. Olsen’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
