Henry Loyd Seegers, 80, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. He was born on May 1, 1933, in Haynesville, Louisiana, to Rosa Bell and Henry Seegers, and had been a longtime resident of the Beaumont area. Henry was a United States Army veteran and a retired shipping supervisor with Texaco.

He is survived by his son, Alan Seegers and his wife, Anita; and granddaughter, Malaina Seegers, all of Beaumont; and siblings, Wayne Seegers of Groves, Margaret Sue Emerson of Shreveport, Louisiana, Douglas Seegers, Gerald Seegers, Kenneth Seegers, and Carolyn Holland, all of Many, Louisiana.

A gathering of Mr. Seeger’s family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
