Harold Wayne Harrison, 63, of Kountze, died Saturday, March 22, 2014.  He was born on November 8, 1950, in San Saba, Texas, to Elizabeth Culbreath Harrison and Woodrow Harrison.  Harold was a United States Navy veteran having served in Vietnam and retired with Sun Oil Company in Sour Lake following thirty-one years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Harrison; daughters, Angela Harrison of China and Haley Cassidy of Belgrade, Montana; step-sons, Casey Berman of Waterfall, Illinois, Chad Bergman of St. Louis, Missouri, and Cody Bergman of Ruma, Illinois; brothers, Lester Harrison of Brenham and Clark Harrison of Wortham; grandchildren, Cade Overbee of Lumberton, Camden Harrison of China, and Jordan Cassidy, Jade Cassidy, and Keaton Cassidy, all of Belgrade, Montana.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Gay.

A gathering of Mr. Harrison’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.
