Alice Ann Angelo Horn

Alice Ann Angelo Horn, 70, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on March 24, 1943, to Sara Barranco Angelo and Jake Angelo. Alice worked for Rogers Brothers Enterprises for twenty years before retiring and then working as a secretary in the transportation department with Beaumont Independent School District until she retired. She is survived by her husband, of forty-nine years, George Horn; twin daughters, Angela Horn Hanna and her husband, Scott, of Katy and Pam Horn Kirk and her husband, Dale, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Katie Kirk and Emily Hanna; sister, Jo Audilet and her husband, Raymond, of Beaumont; and brother, Jake Angelo, Jr. and his wife, Shari, of High Island. Alice is preceded in death by her parents; and niece, Cheryl Audilet. A Rosary for Mrs. Horn will be recited at 2:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 24, 2014, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
