Jeffrey Arnold Ormsby, 47, of Richardson, died Saturday, March 15, 2014. He was born on August 10, 1966, in Houston, to Jo Jane Haynes Ormsby and Jim Bradford Ormsby. Jeffrey was employed with Richardson Bike Mart in sales and service. Survivors include his mother, Jo Ormsby of Richardson; father, Jim B. Ormsby and his wife, Betty, of Palestine; brothers, Joel A. Ormsby of Richardson and his children, Jeffrey, Nicholas, Zachary, and Andrew of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Jason B. Ormsby and his wife, Katherine, and their children, Gabrielle, Elias, and Joshua, of Sugar Land; James B. Woods and his wife, Bobbie, and their children, Ashley, Britney, Jaime, Jacquelyn, Tyler, and Trenten, of Murphy; and Will and Blake Ormsby of Pearland; grandmother, Heli Ormsby of Houston; uncle, Robert Haynes and his wife, Julie, and their children, Parker, Boone, Julie, and Michael, of Austin; aunt, Mary Peery and her husband, Wayne, and their children, Courtney and Dallas Jones, of The Woodlands; uncle, Gregory A. Hall of San Diego, California; aunts, Kathleen Solcher and her husband, Dr. Dean Solcher, of Houston and Colleen Lewis and her husband, Les, and their son, Derik Ormsby, of Crown King, Arizona; and numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George Ormsby; Helen and B.P. Haynes, and John C. Hall; and great-grandparents, Cora Lee and Cecil Ormsby. A gathering of Mr. Ormsby’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake. Memorial contributions may be made to Bikes 4 Tykes, P.O.
