Peggy Joyce Potter, 76, of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was born to Mary and James C. Potter, Sr., in Beaumont, on August 21, 1937. Peggy lived most of her life in Beaumont and graduated from South Park High School.

She is survived by her siblings, Lela Williams; Margaret Meaux (Pierre); James C. Potter, Jr. (Lula); and Don Potter (Betty), all of Beaumont; JoAnn Alexander (Robert C.) of De Peres, Missouri; and Dottie Braren (Oluf) of Kingwood.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Earl C. Potter and Haden K. Potter.

A gathering of Ms. Potter’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
