Michael Mace, 64, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014. He was born on January 16, 1950, to Jimmie Blake Mace and Bill Mace, in Nederland, and had been a longtime resident of this area.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Mace and his wife, Claudia; Matt Mace; and Joey Mace; daughter, Micah Vassar and her husband, Josh; grandson, Jacob Vassar; five sisters; and two brothers.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, JoEllen Mace.

A gathering of Mr. Mace’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
