Cheryl Brottem Ensley, 61, of China, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at home surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 1, 1952, in Crookston, Minnesota, to Deloris Bishop Brottem and Joseph Brottem.

Cheryl is survived by daughters, Haley Ensley and Ashley Breaux; son-in-law, Justin Breaux; grandchildren, Justin, Chase, Peyton, Colston, and Braxton; sister, Ellie Brottem; brothers, Curtis Brottem and his wife, Diana; Thomas Brottem; Tim Brottem and his wife, Gayla; and Dennis Brottem and his wife, Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Deloris and Joseph Brottem; and daughter, Jennifer Ensley.

A gathering of Ms. Ensley’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at China Cemetery, China.
