Earline Hart LeBlanc Walles, 90, of Silsbee, Texas, left this earth gracefully and peacefully on February 28, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. Earline was born to Robert M. and Jewel Hart, on March 15, 1923, in Beaumont.

She graduated from Vidor High School in 1940. After raising three daughters, she furthered her education and received her B.S. and M.Ed. from Lamar University. Earline worked as a teacher, educational diagnostician, and early childhood coordinator for Vidor ISD until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Jacob L. Walles; her daughters, Paula Williamson of Houston; Madeline Gill and her husband, Glenn, of Joaquin; Darlene Bales of Beaumont; Eleanor Drake and her husband, Dee, of Vidor; Peggy McNeely and her husband, James, of Vidor; and Debbie Harmon and her husband, Don, of Vidor; grandchildren, Karyn Langford, Joe Ferguson, Jason Gill, Chad Ferguson, Barbara Theofiledes, Awna Cooper, Elizabeth Punches, Beau Wade, Tracy Marlowe, Erin McNeely, Jacob "Bo" McNeely, Morgan Sonnier, Sharon Brooks, Katie Harmon, and Grace Harmon; great-grandchildren, Laurren, Scott, Jayden, Mason, Jacob, Joseph, Miranda, Colin, Alix, Cole, Ethan, Nathan, Bethany, Christopher, Dustin, Andy, Nathan, Maddie, Hannah, Jacob, Reagan, Deborah, Justin, Crystal, and Abigail; great-great-grandchildren, Trinitie, Jaycee, and KeathLee; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend gratitude to her good friend and neighbor, Billie Jones. 

Earline was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack and C.M. Hart; sisters, Tommie Lou Carr and Mary Ann Hargraves; her husband of fifty-five years, Joseph P. LeBlanc; grandson, Max Lemoine; and stepdaughter, Mary Brooks.

Earline’s sweet smile, loving nature, and wicked sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.

A gathering of Mrs. Walles’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 3, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. CWO2 Jonathan Aaron Courts, USMC; Joe Ferguson, Jason Gill, Scott Langford, Joseph Yutarte, Brandon Courts, Chris Butts, Shannon Langford, Glenn Gill, Dennis Ferguson, and Charles "P.C." Bales will serve as pallbearers. Dee Drake, Don Harmon, D.K. Marlow, James McNeely, and Daniel Sonnier will serve as honorary pallbearers.
