Terry Dale Brown, 65, of Rosebud, died Thursday, February 13, 2014. He was born on December 11, 1948, in Ville Platte, Louisiana, to Mildred Guillory Brown and Leroy Brown, and was a United States Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Ginger Brown of Rosebud; children, Darrell Brown of Kountze; Cathie Brown and her husband, Ross Jordan, of Batson; Cara Wilhite and her husband, Paul, of Conroe; and Catina Closson and her husband, Stephen, of Willis; brothers, Kenneth Brown and his wife, Diane; and Kevin Brown, all of China; sisters, Dianna Brown of Spring; and Lisa LaComb and her husband, Jeff, of Kountze; grandchildren, Victoria Jordan, Kennedy Flower, Miley Jordan, Aybrie Jordan, Brianna Wilhite, Matthew Wilhite, Alyssa Wilhite, Kendall Wilhite, Julia Closson, and Emily Closson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering for Mr. Brown’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe Street, Kountze. A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at China Cemetery, China.
