Garrett Andrew Jones, 26, of Beaumont, died Monday, February 3, 2014. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on September 25, 1987, to Robin Dandry Jones and Michael W. Jones, Sr.

Garrett graduated Lamar University with a double major in Business and Entrepreneurship. He was active in both at the time of his death. Garrett recently accomplished his goal of opening a business consulting company, Jones Group. He had a passion for excellence and a love for everyone. Garrett often spoke of helping others and giving back to the community.  He enjoyed drawing, cooking, gardening, computers, traveling, and being outdoors.

Garrett’s kind spirit, loving personality, and compassionate soul made him dear to many and loved by all.

He is survived by his wife, Erin Germany Jones of Beaumont; parents, Robin and Michael W. Jones, Sr. of Lumberton; brothers, Michael Wade Jones, Jr. of Tampa, Florida and Grant Kyle Jones of Lumberton; and grandparents, Mary Imogene Jones of Lumberton and Gail Dandry of New Orleans, Louisiana.

A gathering of Garrett’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2014, at Honey Island Assembly of God, 9097 FM 1293 Road, Honey Island, with interment to follow at Jordan Cemetery, Honey Island.
