Sarah Lynn Wright Daniels
January 4, 1950 - January 25, 2014 |
Sarah Lynn (Wright) Daniels went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 9:53 am in Beaumont, Texas. She was surrounded by her family. She was born on January 4, 1950 in Buna, Texas to Fred and Laura (Chapman) Wright. I am certain they both greeted her in Heaven with as much joy as they had for her the day she was born.
She loved her two children. Her son James Wright of Florida and her daughter Dustin (Dusty) Daniels of Arizona. Her son-in-law, Stephen Brolsma, passed away in 2010. She was a proud Grandmother to her two grandsons, Mitch and Spencer Brolsma. She may miss the day they walk the stage to receive their college diplomas or their wedding days, the birth of her great-grandchildren but she will one day rejoice again in the presence of her family as we are all prepared to meet her there.
She is also survived by an older brother, Clark Wright and his lovely wife, Fannie (Pie) of Buna, Texas; 16 nieces and nephews and many of their beautiful children and grandchildren. Five of her brothers and sisters were already in heaven to rejoice her homecoming; 3 sisters: Annetia (Nita), Maureen and Roberta (Robbie); 2 Brothers: Fowler and Lewis. She is also preceded in death by 3 nephews: Keith Crutcher, Robert Wright and Mark Wright.
Sarah was a resident of Crossville, Tennessee and was loved by many wonderful friends and her church family. She volunteered at Meals and More and at The Bread of Life. After years of owning a new-construction cleaning business in Wichita Falls, Texas, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. There she had the chance to meet many interesting people while she drove a Taxi Cab in Music City USA. It was a fun job for her because it put her "with people". She knew no stranger and whether famous or not, they were all important to her.
Despite battling cancer over these last several months, her hopes to start an organization called "Soul Sisters" continued on. It was her passion to help others and Soul Sisters was a way to help women in need. That will come to fruition from others who share that dream. She cared for people and would give all she could to them despite her own needs.
She also had such a passion for animals and God saw to it that those who needed her love and care found their way to her. She was always able to tend to each one and find them a home. She kept one of her rescues, a cat she named "Smokey", which she loved dearly.
Her love for family was tremendous and it was a blessing that she was home for the Christmas season so she could share her last days with us. Her heart was big even if her words may have seemed bold at times. There is no doubt that she loved the Lord and over the past 4 years, that gentleness became more obvious. She left this earth peacefully.
We will celebrate her life on Saturday, February 1st at 11am. This memorial service will be at Wright Family Cemetery just East of Buna off of Hwy 253 and Wright's Settlement Road.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations to Cumberland Fellowship Meals and More Ministry, 1640 West Ave, Crossville, TN 38555.
