Clemon Lee Flowers 
October 28, 1942 - January 28, 2014

Clemon Lee Flowers, 71, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 28, 1942, in Hull, to Ruby Tanner Flowers and Clemon B. Flowers, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Clemon Lee owned and operated Level Check Foundation Repair, Beaumont.

 

He is survived by his wife, Aleta Gordey Flowers; sons, Kevin Lee Flowers of Sour Lake; Lawrence Anthony (Tony ) Gordey of Beaumont; Jamison Gordey of Kountze; Ethan Flowers and his wife, Shari, of Devers; and Justin Flowers and his wife, Breanne, of Beaumont; daughters, Taylor Flowers Flagg and her husband, James, of Beaumont and Dawn Gordey Rodriguez and her husband, Ron, of Houston; grandchildren, Amy Britt and her husband, Dustin; Colin Gordey; Dylan and Kynsi Gillis Gordey; Victoria and Holly Flowers; Patrick, Kirsten, and Austin Flowers; Aliana Rodriguez; Gaige and Gabriel Gordey; and Isaac and Isaiah Flowers; great-grandchildren, Phelan and Channing Britt, and Audie Gordey; brothers, James David Flowers and his wife, Karen, of Saratoga; Betty Flowers, wife of the late Melvin Flowers, of Hull; Richard Lynn Flowers and his wife, Bobbi, of Hull; Elton Elmer of Kountze; Michael Elmer of Silsbee; and Carl Elmer of Beaumont; sisters,  Crystal Ann Caraway and her husband, George, of Kountze; and Ramona Lynn Odgen and her husband, Donny, of Woodville; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

 

Clemon Lee is preceded in death by his father, Clemon B. Flowers; mother, Ruby Lee Tanner Elmer; stepfather, Raymond T. Elmer; and brother, Melvin Flowers.

 

A gathering of Mr. Flowers’ family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2014, at The Anchor Church, 6655 State Highway 105, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014, at The Anchor Church, with interment to follow at Holland Cemetery, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
