Anastasia “Ann” Doucet, 70, of Beaumont, died Sunday, January 26, 2014, at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. She was born to Ida LaViolet LaBouve and Hubert LaBouve, in Hathaway, Louisiana, and had been a longtime resident of this area.

Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Meloncon of Hamshire, Valerie Bounds of Silsbee, and Dawn Sonnier of Katy; son, Kevin Doucet of Fannett; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Louella Mueller of Fannett, Pearl Mallett and Eula Mae Roussel both of Iowa, Louisiana; and Jean Castille of Carlos, Louisiana; and brother, Wilford LaBouve of Jennings, Louisiana.

A gathering of Mrs. Doucet’s family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
