Anna “Ann” Aulbaugh, of Beaumont, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the age of 95, at Harbor Hospice House of Beaumont.

Ann was born on November 20, 1918, on a farm near Alton, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hulbertus Visser and Kaatje Everhard, both natives of Holland, who migrated to America in the early 1900’s; her brothers, Hulbertus, Christiaan (who died at birth), Gerrit and Christiaan, and great-grandson, Ryan Kelley.

Her family eventually settled in Texas and operated a dairy in Rosedale for a number of years. Ann married Carrol Stephens Aulbaugh on December 12, 1940. He passed away on April 12, 1992.

Ann is survived by her son, Carrol Eugene Aulbaugh and his wife, Alicia; and her daughter, Wanda Ann Kelley and her husband, Larry.

Ann was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren include Todd S. Aulbaugh and his wife, Maribel; Trent S. Aulbaugh and his wife, Pamela; Larry A. Kelley and his wife, Melissa; Aaron D. Kelley and his wife, Kimberly; and Maria Alicia Ortega. Her great-grandchildren include Angelica, Anna, Brittany, Celeste, Courtney, Erika, Jessika, Jonathan, Lily, Michelle and her husband, Nicholas, and Todd.

For forty years, Miss Ann was an Avon representative serving the greater Beaumont area. She received many awards and for many years was a member of Avon’s President Club. She maintained her Avon business until about six months prior to her death.

Ann was a member of Lamar Baptist Church and taught an adult Sunday School Class for many years. She was involved in church activities and was deeply loved by its members. She cherished the time she spent with her church friends.

Ann was a Christian lady with many friends. She was a sweet caring person who was very willing to assist others. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A gathering of her family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
