Tom Thompson, 55, of Nederland, died January 15, 2014. Born July 17, 1958, in Georgia, Tom was the son of Sharon Barker Thompson and Carl Edward Thompson.  He was an executive chef and ice sculptor.

Tom is survived by his wife, Donna Thompson of Nederland; daughters, Delayne Thompson and Karley Thompson, both of Nederland; stepdaughter, Danyelle Lemieux of San Diego, California; parents, Carl and Sharon Thompson of Vancouver, Washington; and brother, John Thompson and his wife, Shelley, of Gresham, Oregon.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Rob Thompson.

Cremation arrangements for Mr. Thompson are under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
