Clifton Allen “Bubba” Bass, 37, of Kountze, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January, 16, 2014. He was born on January 22, 1976, in Galveston, to Rachel and Clifton Bass, and had been a lifelong resident of Kountze. Bubba graduate from Kountze High School, Class of ’95.

He is survived by his sister, Theresa Mitchell and her husband, Dudley, of Spurger; brother, Richard “Rusty” Roth and his wife, Lessie, of Honey Island; seven nephews; two great-nieces; and numerous other relatives.

Bubba is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Bass’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
