Frederic M. Olson, 72, of Beaumont, passed away on January 11, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. Fred was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  He graduated from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He resided in Beaumont thirty-seven years where he was involved in banking and real estate.

A memorial service for Mr. Olson will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Trinity United Methodist Church–Dishman Chapel, 3430 Harrison Avenue, Beaumont, with a gathering of his family and friends to follow at the Nita McKnight Parlor, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

A committal of Mr. Olson’s cremated body will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Oak Grove Cemetery, State Hwy 33 South 1.5 miles on Redlands Road, Coyle, Oklahoma.
