Linda Kay DuBose, 68, of Missouri City, and formerly of Hamshire, died Friday, January 10, 2014, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston.  She was born on August 4, 1945, in Anniston, Alabama, to Margaret Faye Halstead Bosse and Berthold Frederick Bosse.  Linda was employed with Southeast Texas Ob/Gyn Associates in Beaumont for 28 years prior to her retirement in 2013.  Above all, Linda cherished her family and friends, put all of her faith in the Lord, and captivated all she met with her beautiful smile.

Survivors include her husband, Steve DuBose; son, Justin DuBose and his wife, Bridget, of Ramstein Air Base, Germany; daughter, Kindal Peltier and her husband, B.J., of Missouri City; grandchildren, Riley DuBose, Reagan DuBose, Kobe Ammann, London DuBose, Morgan Peltier, Pratt Peltier, Blake Peltier, and Maggie Peltier.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, David Bosse.

A gathering of Mrs. DuBose’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at 2:30 p.m., at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston.
