Tom Wills, 90, of Nederland, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born October 16, 1923, to P.D. and Ruth Wills and had been a lifelong resident of the Nederland area. Tom was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II in the Pacific and later was employed with Unocal, where he worked a total of forty-one years before retiring. He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church, Nederland, the American Legion, Post 493 and VFW.

Tom is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Wills; daughter, Carolyn Ward; son, Tommy Wills and his wife, Arlene, all of Nederland; brother, Dennis Wills and his wife, Roberta, of Port Neches; grandchildren, Bryan Ward of Melissa, Texas, Thomas Wills and Jennie Wills, both of Nederland; and great-grandson, Dylan Ward of Melissa, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Connie Pousson; and brothers, John D., Jess, Jack, Jimmy and P.D. Wills.

A gathering of Mr. Wills family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, 104 North 13th Street, Nederland, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
