Renee Carol Fontenot, 51, of Beaumont, died Friday, December 6, 2013. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on June 14, 1962, to Elizabeth Reynolds Fontenot and Eugene John Fontenot.

Renee is survived by her daughter, Courtney Goodman and her husband, Chad, of Beaumont; son, Payton Beal; and parents, Betsy and Gene Fontenot, all of Beaumont; brother, Steve Fontenot of Warren; niece, Sadie Fontenot; and grandchildren, Ethan Goodman, Molly Goodman, and Avery Goodman.

A gathering of Ms. Fontenot’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
