M. DeLain Thibodeaux, 85, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Facility. Born November 9, 1928, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, she was a long time resident of Beaumont, before moving to Lumberton in 1994. DeLain was employed with St. Elizabeth Hospital for nineteen years before retiring in 2005.

She is survived by her sister, Nell Wiggins of Beaumont; daughters, Janice Griffin and her husband, Mike, of Tyler; Debbie Thibodeaux of Arlington; and Peggy Clark and her husband, Bryan, of Lumberton; son, Wayne Thibodeaux of Beaumont; grandchildren, Michael Griffin, Ashley Griffin, Chris Corey Griffin, Nicole Thibodeaux, Chase Wert, Lauren Wert, Colby Clark, and Brandon Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews.

DeLain is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Mancy Everage; sisters, Ruthie Miller and Florence Russell; and brother, Buddy Everage.

A gathering of Mrs. Thibodeaux’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
