Betty Sue Crowley, 73, of Kountze, died Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast, Beaumont. She was born on February 14, 1940, in LePanto, Arkansas, to Nellie M. Rollins Vickers and Arthur W. Vickers, and had been a resident of Kountze since 1999. Betty was an office manager with Mathiston Motor Company, Mathiston, Mississippi, and retired after thirty years of employment.

She is survived by her son, Jim Crowley of Tupelo, Mississippi; daughter, Beth Richardson and her husband David of Kountze; granddaughters, Meagan Wright of Flowood, Mississippi, Rebekah Richardson of Kountze, and Allie Crowley of Flowood, Mississippi; sisters, Jo Scott of St. Louis, Missouri, Anna Reed of McKenzie, Tennessee, Carolyn Clark of Kennett, Missouri, and Cathryn Kessler of Arnold, Missouri; brothers, Lee Vickers of Kansas City, Missouri, Don Vickers of Marcella, Arkansas, and Tommy Vickers of St. Louis, Missouri.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Woodrow Crowley; son, Richard Crowley; grandson, Coy David Richardson; brothers, Dean, Gene, and Chester Vickers; and sister, Dana Howell.

A Celebration of Life and Service for Mrs. Crowley will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1600 South Pine Street, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze. A graveside committal of her cremated body will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Providence Cemetery, Maben, Mississippi, with Reverend Charles Clark officiating.
