Barbara Nell Fillingim, 60, of Saratoga, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Silsbee Convalescent Center, Silsbee.  She was born on January 14, 1953, to Alberta Presley Fillingim and Herman S. Fillingim, and had been a longtime resident of Kountze. Barbara Nell was a waitress with Top Half Cafe and Mama Jacks in Kountze.

Survivors include her brothers, Kenneth Fillingim and Johnny Fillingim, both of Sour Lake and Doug Fillingim and his wife, Katie, of Kountze; sisters, Betty Gilliam and her husband, Billy and Ginger Wilson and her husband, Terry, all of Saratoga and Claudine Gilliam of Silsbee; eleven nieces and nephews; and fourteen great nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Ms. Fillingim’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m, Friday, December 6, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake.
