Mary Huckabee Studdert, 92, of Beaumont died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on January 3, 1921, to Mollye Oglesbee Huckabee and Willie Huckabee. Mary retired as an apartment manager and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons, David Studdert and his wife, Sheila of Nome and Ronald Studdert and his wife, JoAnn of Carrollton; sister, Edith Lee of Beaumont; grandchildren, Angie Alvey and her husband, Trey; Kari Minton and her husband, Chad; Kimberly Ring and her husband, Doug; Noel Hill and her husband, Chris; six great-grandchildren, Emma and Ella Alvey, Aiden Minton, Claire and Ashley Ring, and Curran Hill; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Studdert, her brother Frank Huckabee, and her sister Willie Mae Dean.

A gathering of Mrs. Studdert’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
