Judy Lane Todd, 66, of Hamshire, died Monday, December 2, 2013, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on August 30, 1947, in Port Arthur, to Alice Broussard Melancon and Clanis Melancon, and had been a longtime resident of Hamshire.

Judy is survived by her husband, Ray Todd, Jr.; daughters, Margaret Duncan and her husband, Kevin and Rachel Dison and her husband, Joe; grandchildren, Kenneth Waltman, Jr., Richard Waltman, Raymond Todd, Jeremy Waltman, Jarrod Todd, Joseph Dison, and Alice Dison; sisters, Helen Bearden, Elizabeth Dale, Janis Melancon, Cheryl Dowden, and Nona Bowe; brothers, Russell Gautreaux and Clanis Melancon, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Todd’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2955 South Major Drive, Beaumont with interment to follow at Broussard Cemetery, Fannett, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
