Leonard Keith Hendrix, 57, of Beaumont, died Friday, November 29, 2013. He was born on November 11, 1956, in Kountze, to Ruby Joyce Hendrix and Harvey Leon Hendrix, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed with Market Basket for over twenty years.

Leonard is survived by his sisters, Sandra Hill and Stacy Allen and her husband, Shane; brothers, James Hendrix and his wife, Jennifer; Harvey Hendrix and his wife, Hope; and Gary Hendrix and his wife, Brenda; and special friend, Diane Letterman.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Leon Hendrix; mother, Ruby Joyce Hendrix; sister, Mary Katherine Walton; and brother, Richard Lynn Hendrix.

A gathering of Mr. Hendrix’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake.
