Willie Dell Harrington 
October 17, 1936 - November 30, 2013

Willie Dell Harrington, 77, of Fannett, died Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur.  She was born on October 17, 1936, in Morse, Louisiana, to Emma Hargrave Lulue and Willie Lulue.  Willie Dell was the owner of Harrington Sanitation.  She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Fannett and served as a member of Catholic Daughters.   She was dedicated to the church would help feed the elderly and participate in a lot of charity work for the church.  Willie Dell always put her family first.

 

Survivors include her children, David Harrington and his wife, Susan, of Fannett; John Harrington and his wife, Irma, of Port Acres; Verbis Harrington and his wife, Debbie, of Beaumont; Simona Blanchard and her husband, Doug; and Aime Winckler and her husband, Doug, all of Fannett; grandchildren, Brandon Harrington, Julie Harrington, Jennifer Blanchard, Blake Harrington, Crystal Blanchard, Angel Walton, Keith Winckler, C.J. Winckler, and Kyle Winckler; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Diaz of Fannett; Verna McCollum of Vinton, Louisiana; Bonnie Leleux of Houston; Christine Bertrand and her husband, Billy, of Hemphill; and Lee Anna Payne and her husband, Phil,  of  Raytown, Missouri; and brother, Maurice Lulue and his wife, Sue, of Fannett.

 

A gathering of Mrs. Harrington’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Christian Vigil to follow at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
