Charlie P. “C.P.”
Folse, 82, of Port Neches, died Sunday, November 24, 2013. He was born June 16,
1931, in Raceland, Louisiana to Judith and Albert J. Folse. Before his
retirement, C.P. worked for many years as an Operations Supervisor with Unocal
Refinery in Port Arthur. He was a man of high integrity and was well loved by a
host of friends. In later life he was a faithful member and teacher at the
First United Methodist Church in Port Neches. C.P. loved his kids and his wife
& devoted his time to caring for them. He is survived by his
daughter, Carlie Folse Phillips and her husband, Terry; sons, Dr. Kim David
Folse and his wife, Valantina, all of Port Neches and Craig Wayne Folse and his
wife, Debbie, of Port Neches; sister, Betty Gervais of Raceland, Louisiana; six
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. C.P. is preceded in
death by his parents; wife Deane Schaubhut Folse; sisters, Louise Porche, Eula
Gierlinski, Thelma Minick, Mickey Fisher and Enid Delahoussaye; brother, Jackson
Folse; and grandson, Joshua Folse. A gathering of Mr.
Folse’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with a funeral service to
follow at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013, First United Methodist
Church, 1826 Nall Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505
North 12th Street, Nederland. Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff
Memorial Park, Port Neches. Memorial contributions
