Nora Weaver Smith, 67, of China, died November 18, 2013. She was born on August 14, 1946, to Eula Mae Jannise Weaver and H.A. Weaver, in Beaumont.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-eight years, David Smith; aunts, Laura West and Myrtle Jannise; and a host of cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Amy and Albert Jannise.

A gathering of Mrs. Smith’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 Highway 90, China, with interment to follow at China Cemetery, China.
