Susan Reneé Womack, 43, of Village Mills, died Friday, November 15, 2013.  She was born on October 5, 1970, in Kingston, Jamaica, to Maxine Smith Womack and Marshall Womack.  Reneé had many talents, two of which were playing the piano and painting.  She loved cooking a vegan meal, spending the day at Lake Kimble, and visiting the city of Austin.  Reneé was eccentric, loving, passionate, creative, and whimsical.

Survivors include her children, Hannah Bassana, Marina Bassana, and Hart Bassana, all of Beaumont; mother, Maxine Smith Womack of Village Mills; and brother, Marshall “Mike” Leslie Womack, Jr.  She is preceded in death by her father, Marshall Leslie Womack, Sr.

A gathering of Ms. Womack’s family and friends will begin at 6:30 p.m., with her memorial service at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.  Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
