Deborah “Debbie” Jean Audilet, 62, of China, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.

She was born on January 24, 1951, in Beaumont, to Jean Hawley Schroeder and F. W. “Boots” Schroeder, and had been a longtime resident of China. Debbie was a retired manager with Watkins Construction.

She is survived by her sons, Jay Townsend and his wife, Marcy, of Beaumont and Josh Townsend and his wife, Kristin, of Gainesville; stepchildren, Justin Audilet and his wife, Tara, of Beaumont; Jessica Smith and her husband, Dan, of Alaska; and Jimmy Audilet III and his wife, Stacy, of Beaumont; twelve grandchildren; and brothers, Ronnie Schroeder of Gainesville, Bill Schroeder of China, Tommy Schroeder of Lovelady, Robbie Schroeder of Stephenville, and Donnie Schroeder of Beaumont.

A gathering of Mrs. Audilet’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.
