Dapthena Etoil Renick 
March 12, 1935 - November 11, 2013

Dapthena Etoil Renick, 78, of Wildwood, died Monday, November 11, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont.  She was born on March 12, 1935, in Belton, to Cecil Richards Elliott and Garland Elliott, and had been a resident of Wildwood for twenty years.  Dapthena retired as secretary with Scott and White Hospital in Temple and later managed and operated The Body Toner in Beaumont for many years.

 

Survivors include her children, Steven Renick and his wife, Donna, of Warren; Mike Renick and his wife, Jill, of Wildwood; and Scott Renick and his wife, Bridget, of Wildwood; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Doyle Elliott, Richard Elliott, and Kenny Elliott, all of Belton; and sister, Evanell Simek of Belton.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Evonne Wooley.

 

A gathering of Mrs. Renick’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Wildwood-Village Mills United Methodist Church, 5943 FM 3063, Village Mills, with interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
