Carl Rupert Hyatt, 86, of Winnie, died Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was born on July 27, 1927, to Mabel Ross Hyatt and David Wallace Hyatt, in Chatham, Ontario, Canada.

Survivors include his son, James Hyatt; and daughter, Rebecca Hyatt, both of Winnie; brothers, Charlie Hyatt, Jim Hyatt, and Ross Hyatt, all of Canada; sister, Verlyn Tiner of Canada; grandchildren, Steve Hyatt, Frank Hyatt, Brandal Hyatt, Shawnee Hyatt, and Karla Hyatt; and great-grandchild, Beau Hyatt.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Ila Jean Truesdale Hyatt.

A memorial service for Mr. Hyatt will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
