Jackie
Thomas LeBaron “Jack”, 76, of Village Mills, Texas, died Sunday, November 3,
2013. He was born September 19, 1937, to Mildred Howard and Jack Houston
LeBaron, in Oak Grove Community, Louisiana, and had been a resident of Nederland
for the last sixty years. Jack was a veteran of the United States National Guard.
He retired as a mechanic from DuPont after thirty-one years of service. Jack
enjoyed fishing, woodworking, competitive pistol shooting, and participating in
his grandchildren’s activities.
He
is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Nettie Jane LeBaron; sons, Danny
LeBaron and his wife, Katy, Bill Jardell
and his wife, Keely, all of Nederland, Glin LeBaron and his wife, Misti, of
League City; daughter, Liz Fry and her husband, Terry, of Village Mills;
grandchildren, Will and Mackenzie Jardell, Madalyn, Connor and Austin Fry, and
Mitchell, Madison, Katlyn and Ashlyn LeBaron; brothers, James Roy McComic and
his wife, Margaret, of Poplarville, Mississippi, Hugh LeBaron and his wife,
Dot, of Starkville, Mississippi; sister, Nancy McComic of Nederland, and a host of
family and friends.
Jack
is preceded in death by his father, Jack H. LeBaron; and mother and
step-father, Mildred and James McComic.
A
gathering of Mr. LeBaron’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November
6, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park,
Port Neches.
