Jeff Thompson 
August 24, 1964 - November 3, 2013

Jeff Thompson, 49, of Beaumont, died Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on August 24, 1964, in Beaumont, to ONeida Faye Haney Thompson and Ellis Thompson.  Jeff was self employed in the construction industry as a remodeler.

 

He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and uncle that was also a friend to everyone he met. His very outgoing personality made it hard for him to come across someone he did not like or did not like him. Jeff lived in Los Angeles, California, for twenty-six years and left many close friends behind when he planned to move back to Beaumont to reconnect with family and friends.

 

Music was Jeff’s passion and he was always singing and moving. He was born with the love of music but could not help but to love heavy metal rock because of its high energy. He was born to sing heavy metal rock. Along with his passion in music, he also shared a love for the beach, the sun, outdoors, and traveling. His dogs, Jordan and Zane, were very close to his heart.

 

Survivors include his parents, ONeida and Ellis Thompson of Beaumont; brother, Craig Thompson and his wife, Marlene, of Leander; sister, Cathy Thompson–Burrow and her husband, Allen, of Mansfield; niece, Jessica Kennedy and her husband, John; and nephews, Tate Burrow, Ryan Thompson, Jonas Kennedy, and Jaret Kennedy.

 

A gathering of Mr. Thompson’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
