Phillip Seth Parks, 21, of Bastrop, passed away due to injuries received in an automobile accident on October 24, 2013.  He was born April 30, 1992, in Beaumont. Seth was the firstborn of four sons of Deanna Rashel Parks and James Craig Parks.  He graduated from Bastrop High School where he was a member of the NROTC and was a Bailiff on the Bastrop Teen Court.  Seth attended the Texas State Technical College in Waco and was an officer with Bastrop FFA.  He loved to take pictures and saw the world as a beautiful place with a different eye. 

Seth loved his friends and family and is survived by his great-grandmother, Dorothy May; great-grandfather, Robert Netterville; grandparents, Phillip and Cheryl Burton; grandmother, Phyllis Parks; his parents, Rashel and Craig; brothers, Keaton, Tyler, and Quinn Parks; uncle and aunt, Chris and Sandy Murrah; cousins, Erin, Robert, and Ian; and best friends, CJ Chamblee and Travis Berdoll.  Seth will be missed by all. 

His family will host a visitation on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas from 6:00p.m.until 8:00 p.m.   Funeral Services will be held at Marrs Jones Newby on October 30, 2013 at 1:00p.m.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
